FRESNO – A Kings County man is alleged to have defaulted on a car loan.
Noble Federal Credit Union filed a complaint on June 14 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Juan Daniel Melchor-Villegas alleging breach of written contract.
According to the complaint, the defendant entered into a written retail installment contract for a new 2013 Chevrolet Camaro automobile with Liberty Chevrolet in August 2013. The suit states this contract was later assigned to the plaintiff.
The defendant allegedly defaulted on the contract in April 2016 and $38,207.11 is now past due, owing and unpaid.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in the principal sum of $38,207.11, plus interest, immediate possession of the 2013 Chevrolet Camaro automobile or its retail value $24,000 or more, attorney’s fees, costs and expenses and all further relief as the court deems just and proper.
