Employee accuses moving company of failing to pay proper wages

SAN FRANCISCO — An employee is suing a moving company, alleging unpaid wages and violation of workers compensation acts.

Gary Middle Rider filed a complaint July 17 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Moving Solutions Inc., alleging failure to pay fair wages to the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, Rider suffered monetary damages from not being paid all proper wages including overtime pay in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act. The plaintiff alleges Moving Solutions failed to provide accurate itemized wage statements to the Rider.

Rider seeks trial by jury, compensatory damages, liquidated damages, restitution, injunctive relief, penalty damages, all legal fees, interest, and all other relief the court deems just.
