Insurance 06

SAN FRANCISCO — State Farm Insurance is suing a San Mateo County woman, alleging breach of contract.

State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company filed a complaint April 21 in San Francisco County Superior Court against Savannah Rain Ricci, and Does 1-40, alleging that they failed and refused to pay sums due to the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, State Farm suffered monetary damages from not being paid nearly $22,000 relating to a vehicle crash Aug. 2, 2016. The plaintiff alleges the defendants continued to refuse to pay State Farm the sums entitled it despite several demands for payment.

State Farm seeks $21,881.12,  plus interest at the maximum rate allowed by the law, all legal fees and all other relief the court deems just. It is represented by attorneys Richard L. Mahfouz II and Shelby Poteet of Clerkin, Sinclair & Mahfouz LLP in San Diego.
