San Francisco condo owners accuse New York developers of fraud

SAN FRANCISCO — A San Francisco couple is suing New York real estate developers, alleging fraud and negligent misrepresentation.

Chung-Chih Lin and Ling-Wen Chi filed a complaint April 21 in San Francisco County Superior Court against are suing Millennium Partners I Inc., Millennium Partners Management LLC, Mission Street Development LLC, Mission Street Holdings LLC, Transbay Joint Powers Authority and Does 1 through 100, alleging they misled the plaintiffs into purchasing the condominium property.

According to the complaint, Lin and Chi suffered monetary damages from purchasing a property at 301 Mission St., San Francisco, that had material facts concealed from them. The plaintiffs allege the defendants did not inform them that the property had begun sinking into the soil.

The plaintiffs seek trial by jury, compensatory, economic and general damages, legal fees, punitive damages, interest and all other relief the court deems just. They are represented by attorney Niall P. McCarthy of Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy LLP in Burlingame, California.
