California photographer accuses Alaska publisher of copyright infringement

SAN FRANCISCO — A California photographer is suing an Alaska publisher, alleging copyright infringement.

Erickson Productions Inc. of Petaluma, California, filed a complaint Sept. 6  in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Beacon Publishing & Design LLC, doing bjusiness as Beacon Media + Marketing; Alyeska International, Inc., and Somnosure Inc.,  alleging they used the plaintiff's photographic work without its consent.

According to the complaint, Erickson Productions suffered damages from having its photograph used without consent. The plaintiff alleges the defendants used and posted the plaintiff's photographs on their website without his permission.

Erkson Productions seeks trial by jury, permanent injunction against the defendant, all damages, actual and statutory damages, legal fees, interest, punitive and/ or exemplary damages, and all other relief as this court deems just. They are represented by attorneys Nathaniel A. Kleinman of The McCulloch Law Firm PLLC in New York, and by Andrew Delahunt of Law Office of Andrew Delahunt in West Hollywood.
