SAN FRANCISCO — An Oakland man is suing a New York-based pornography business, alleging unpaid wages, violation of state law, and violation of workers compensation acts.

Malcolm Sherwood filed a complaint Sept. 22 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Intersec Interactive Inc., Daniel Intraub, Brett Scott, Does 1-100, alleging they failed to pay fair overtime wages, violating the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, Sherwood suffered monetary damages from not being properly compensated for his overtime work. The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to pay overtime wages of time and half to Sherwood, including adequate meal and rest premiums.

Sherwood seeks trial by jury, general damages, special damages, legal fees, exemplary damages and any other relief the court deems just. He is represented by attorney Julien Swanson of Austin Law Group in San Francisco.
