Doctor accused of medical negligence in patient's death

Medical malpractice 02

FRESNO — A family member suing a physician and other medical professionals, alleging medical negligence caused the death of a relative.

Bobby Boles, individually and as executor of the estate of Jerry Boles, filed a complaint Sept. 12 in Fresno County Superior Court against Dr. Pervais Akhtar Chaudhry, registered nurse Dan Branch, Valley Cardiac Surgery Medical Group et. al., alleging the defendants failed their professional duty to properly diagnose and treat a patient.

According to the complaint, each of the defendants undertook employment to diagnose Jerry Boles' medical condition and provide proper medical care. Bobby Boles said Jerry Boles failed to be treated and suffered more injuries that resulted to his sudden death.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to have the necessary knowledge and skill to properly care for a patient's condition that resulted in an untimely death.

Bobby Boles seeks trial by jury, judgment between $10,000 and $25,000 for compensatory damages, costs of suit, and all fair, just and equitable relief. Boles is represented by attorney Henry D. Nunez of Law Office of Henry D. Nunez in Fresno.
