FRESNO — A family is suing a motorist, alleging his negligent driving caused a crash that injured the plaintiffs.
Thomas Hite, Joie Hite, Sofia Hite and Cameron Hite filed a complaint Oct. 10 in Fresno County Superior Court against AGI Manufacturing, Inc, Jay Holmes and Does 1 to 100, inclusive, alleging violation of the California Vehicle Code.
According to the complaint, on Oct. 10, 2015, the Hites were driving on state Road 21 in San Joaquin, California. The suit says their car was struck by Holmes' vehicle, causing the Hites to sustain physical injuries and incur medical expenses.
The plaintiffs allege Holmes failed to keep proper lookout, failed to yield right of way and failed to exercise due diligence while operating their vehicle.
The Hites seek trial by jury, general, actual and compensatory damages, plus costs of suit and fair, equitable and proper relief. They are represented by attorney Daniel D. Geoulla of B&D Law Group APLC in Los Angeles.
