Bank alleges customer owes nearly $33,000

FRESNO — A bank is suing a customer, alleging she owes nearly $33,000 for breach of contract.

Suntrust Bank, doing business as Light Stream, filed a complaint Oct. 19 in Fresno County Superior Court against Shannon Minor and Does 1-100, alleging breaching terms of a loan agreement.

According to the complaint, Light Stream entered into a loan agreement with Minor and performed all terms and conditions required under the contract. Light Stream says it has failed to receive monthly payments due on an open book account amounting of $32,835.80 plus interest at the rate of 11.29 percent per annum from Oct. 10 to the present. 

The plaintiff alleges Minor has failed to make monthly payments due and owing and failed to make any further payments pursuant to the agreement.

Light Stream seeks trial by jury, payment for the principal sum of &32,835.80, plus costs of suit and all other relief the court deems just and proper. It is represented by attorney Lee M. Mendelson of Mendelssohn Goldman & Schwarz, A Professional Corporation in Sherman Oaks.
