Driver, passenger blame another motorist for crash

FRESNO — An Arroyo Grande couple is suing vehicle operators, alleging vehicular negligence caused a crash that injured the plaintiffs.

Terry McKnight and Patricia McKnight filed a complaint Dec. 15 in Fresno County Superior Court against Aleja Ramirez Aguirre, Nver Tadevosyan, AT Medical Transportation LLC, and Does 1 through 20, alleging the defendants failed to care for others while operating and maintaining a motor vehicle so as to avoid any collision.

According to the complaint, on Oct. 21, 2017, the McKnights were driving north on U.S. Highway 41 near Mt. Whitney Avenue in Fresno County. The suit says Aguirre and Tadevosyan, operating a vehicle for AT Medical Transportation, negligently caused a collision with the McKnights' vehicle.  

As a result, thhe McKnights say the they suffered bodily injuries, physical and emotional distress and medical expenses. 

The plaintiffs allege the defendants failed to maintain vehicle in a safe manner, causing the crash and serious injuries.

The McKnights seek trial by jury, general and economic damages for medical-related expenses and loss of earnings, pre-judgment interest and all other further relies the court deems just and proper.
