Photographer accuses eBay of copyright infringement

SAN DIEGO — A photographer suing eBay, alleging copyright infringement.

Barry Rosen of Los Angeles filed a complaint Jan. 17 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California against eBay, Inc., and Does 1 through 10, alleging the defendants used the plaintiff's copyrighted photographs of former tennis star Anna Kournikova without his consent.

According to the complaint, Rosen was was damaged monetarily from having copies of his Kournikova photographs used for financial gain. 

Rosen seeks trial by jury, actual damages, accounting of all profits, income, receipts, plus other benefits, statutory damages, interest, court costs, enjoin the defendant from further infringing the plaintiff's copyrights and any further relief the court grants. He is representing himself.
