Ascentium Capital LLC alleges it is owed more than $190,000 for loan

LOS ANGELES – A San Luis Obispo individual is alleged to have failed to pay a loan in full.

Ascentium Capital LLC filed a complaint on Jan. 22 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Shelby Bentz, M.D. Inc.; Shelby Bentz, M.D., also known as Shelby Louise Bentz and Shelby Louise Bentz, M.D. alleging breach of equipment finance agreement and breach of guaranty.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff loaned $194,250 to the defendant as part of an equipment finance agreement in June 2016. The plaintiff alleges it has not received a payment since August 2017 despite demands.

The plaintiff seeks principal sum of $195,405.14, late charges of at least $1,993.95, court costs and any further relief the court grants. It is represented by Andrew K. Alper of Frandzel Robins Bloom & CSATO LC in Los Angeles.
