Motorist blames another driver for crash

SAN FRANCISCO — A San Francisco motorist is suing another driver, alleging negligence caused a cdrash that injured the plaintiff.

Jerome Joseph Peterson filed a complaint March 5 in San Francisco County Superior Court against Mary Jones Kelley and Does 1-10, alleging they failed to exercise standard care and skill in the operation of a vehicle.

According to the complaint, on May 1, 2017, Peterson he was traveling along Laurel and Sacramento Street in San Francisco. The suit  says Kelley negligently operated the vehicle, with the consent of her co-defendants, causing it to collide with Peterson's car.  As a result, Peterson says he sustained severe and serious injuries, incurred medical and hospital expenses, and was denied the use of his vehicle. 

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to adequately maintain and operate a motor vehicle so as not to cause harm, and breached their duty of care by allowing the motor vehicle to be used for negligent operation.

Peterson seeks trial by jury, general damages, medical and other expenses, interest, costs of suit and all further relief the court deems just. He is represented by attorney Edi Kristopher of Harrison / Kristopher LLP in Concord.
