TWD LLC files suit against Grunt Style over use of This We'll Defend mark

SAN DIEGO – An Illinois limited liability company is alleged to have unlawfully used a trademarked phrase on clothing it sold online on eBay and Amazon.

TWD LLC filed a complaint on March 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California against Grunt Style LLC alleging trademark infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendant used its This We'll Defend registered trademark on its clothing products without consent or authority from plaintiff. 

The plaintiff holds Grunt Style LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly infringed the plaintiff's mark.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant, statutory damages, treble damages or profits, attorney's fees, interest, equitable relief, constructive trust, and further relief as the court may deem necessary.
