Woman alleges she was injured when Uber driver collided with another vehicle

SAN FRANCISCO – An Uber rider alleges she was injured when the driver rear-ended another vehicle.

Kristal Bird filed a complaint on March 7 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Jesse Junehee Lee, Rasier LLC, Rasier-CA LLC and Does 1-50 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 13, 2016, she was riding in an Uber driven by Lee in San Francisco when Lee struck another vehicle.

The plaintiff holds Lee, Rasier LLC, Rasier CA LLC and Does 1-50 responsible because the Lee allegedly failed to keep a proper lookout for other vehicles and Rasier LLC and Rasier-CA LLC allegedly was negligent in hiring.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendants for general and special damages, interest, costs of suit and further relief as the court may deem just. She is represented by Robert E. Cartwright and Brian G. Lance of The Cartwright Law Firm Inc. in San Francisco.
