Medical malpractice 08

SAN FRANCISCO – A customer at an O'Farrell Street, San Francisco store alleges she was injured when shelving fell on her.

Joan Green filed a complaint on March 14 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against GNC Store No. 01569, GNC Holdings Inc. and Does 1-20 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 30, 2016, she was visiting defendants' retail store when a portion of the shelving fell and crushed her foot and toe, causing bodily injuries, wage losses, hospital and medical expenses, and loss of earnings.

The plaintiff holds GNC Store No. 01569, GNC Holdings Inc. and Does 1-20 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to remedy the hazardous condition.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant for compensatory damages, costs of suit, and such relief that is fair and just. She is represented by Michael A. Horowitz of Habbas, Nasseri & Associates in San Jose.
