SAN FRANCISCO – A motorcycle rider is seeking damages from Pacific Bell Telephone Co. and a driver over alleged injuries sustained in a collision in Richmond.
Rodney Jaramillo filed a complaint on March 16 in the Superior Court of California - County of San Francisco against Pacific Bell Telephone Co. and Armando Rodriguez alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 22, 2016, while driving near the intersection of 23rd Street and Garvin Avenue in Richmond, his motorcycle was struck by defendants' vehicle. During the accident, the suit states defendant Rodriguez was acting in the course of his employment with defendant Pacific Bell Telephone Co.
As a result, Jaramillo claims he sustained lost wages, general and property damage and medical expenses.
The plaintiff holds Pacific Bell Telephone Co. and Rodriguez responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently operated, steered, maintained, lent, borrowed and otherwise used a motor vehicle in such a negligent manner as to cause collision with the plaintiff.
The plaintiff seeks judgment for compensatory damages, plus costs of suit, and for such relief as is fair, just and equitable. He is represented by Pete Clancy of Clancy & Diaz LLP in Walnut Creek.
