SACRAMENTO – A California man is seeking damages from a Bakersfield company and a Las Vegas woman over alleged damages sustained in a Louisiana collision.
Jatinder Singh filed a complaint on April 25 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California against Patiala Express Inc. and Donna Marie Morgan alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 5, 2016, he was driving his tractor-trailer on Interstate 20 in Louisiana when his tractor-trailer was struck by defendants' 2016 Volvo tractor, causing a collision. As a direct and proximate result, Singh alleges he suffered general damages, including physical pain, mental suffering and loss of enjoyment of life.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for general and special damages, prejudgment interest, costs of suit, and such other and further relief as the court deems proper.
