SAN FRANCISCO – A San Francisco resident alleges he was not given a vested interest in a casino per two agreements he signed.
Peter Sargent Russell filed a complaint on May 15 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Suman Som, Reindeer Casino LLC, Optimal Effort Technology Services LLC and Does 1-50 alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Aug. 14, 2014, he signed a membership interest grant agreement with Reindeer Casino and an independent contractor agreement with Som and Optimal Effort Technology Services. He alleges the terms of both agreements granted him a 35 percent in vested interest in Reindeer Casino, but this interest was never transferred to him.
The plaintiff holds Som, Reindeer Casino LLC, Optimal Effort Technology Services LLC and Does 1-50 responsible because the defendants allegedly denied the existence of an agreement between plaintiff and defendants, failed to acknowledge their duties under the leases, and interfered with plaintiff's interests in the agreements.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants; compensatory, special, general and treble damages; punitive and exemplary damages, attorney's fees, costs of suit and further relief as the court deems just. He is represented by R. Michael Lieberman of Law Offices of R. Michael Lieberman in San Francisco.
