Kim Ann Peck filed a complaint on May 10 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Community Medical Centers, doing business as Clovis Community Medical Center, Myint Zaw MD and Does 1-20 alleging wrongful death.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff's late husband Patrick Peck was treated by the defendants from December 2016 until his death on June 21, 2017.
