SAN FRANCISCO – A driver is seeking compensatory damages after her vehicle was rear-ended in San Francisco.

Kimberley M. Fountain filed a complaint on May 16 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Barbara C. Crain, Aaron Barton Chong and Does 1 to 25, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 20, 2016, she was lawfully stopped at a traffic light on Lincoln Avenue in San Francisco when the rear of her vehicle was struck by defendants' vehicle. As a proximate and legal result, Fountain claims she suffered serious injury and damages to her body and mind and property damage to her vehicle.

The plaintiff holds Crain, Chong and Does 1 to 25 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to exercise reasonable and prudent care in the maintenance, operation, and use of their motor vehicles.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for compensatory damages according to proof. She is represented by Christina A. Fountain of Lopez McHugh LLP in Newport Beach.
