Driver alleges head, neck injuries from collision at Fresno intersection

FRESNO – A woman alleges she was injured in a collision in Fresno after another driver ran a stop sign.

Kathy Pappas Angelos filed a complaint on May 18 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Jocelyn Noemi Valdes, Omar P. Valdes and Christina Valdes alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 24, 2016, while driving at the intersection of Cedar Avenue and Park View in Fresno, her vehicle was struck by defendants' vehicle. The suit states Jocelyn Noemi Valdes allegedly ran a stop sign and caused the collision.

As a result, Angelos claims she suffered physical injuries, medical expenses and property damage. She alleges her shoulders, neck, back, head and body were injured.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for compensatory damages according to proof. She is represented by Larry H. Shapazian of Tomassian, Pimental & Shapazian in Fresno.
