FRESNO – A patron of a Fresno night club alleges the condition of the floor caused her to fall.

Elvira R. Cervantez-Puga filed a complaint on May 21 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Alejandro Rivera Diaz, doing business as El Prado, and Does 1-20 alleging negligence and premises liability.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 28, 2016, she fell and was injured because her feet got stuck in the poorly maintained flooring at the defendants' premises.

The plaintiff holds Diaz and Does 1-20 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to have reasonable policies and procedures regarding the control, maintenance and inspection of the premises.

The plaintiff seeks compensatory damages according to proof. She is represented by Owili K. Eison of Banafsheh Danesh & Javid PC in Beverly Hills.
