Invitee alleges metal strip at Clovis home caused her to fall

FRESNO – A woman is seeking damages from a Clovis resident after a fall at a home.

Sarah Lejeune filed a complaint on May 25 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Patsy Hyde and Does 1-10 alleging negligence and premises liability.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 4, 2016, she was injured when she tripped and fell after her right sandal got caught between the floor and metal strip of a step while exiting Hyde's Clovis home. 

She alleges she suffered severe and serious injuries to her knees, shoulder, right foot and forehead as a result of the fall.

The plaintiff seeks compensatory damages in an amount according to proof. She is represented by Edward D. Fanucchi and David M. Moeck of Quinlan, Kershaw & Fanucchi in Fresno.
