Wrongful term 12

FRESNO – A Fresno County man alleges he was wrongfully terminated from his job at a roofing company after only two months.

Ruben Spencer filed a complaint on June 1 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Nations Roof West LLC and Does 1 through 100 alleging retaliation and wrongful termination.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 1, 2017, he became an employee of defendants as an estimator and relocated from Fremont to Fresno. He alleges he was terminated two months later.

The plaintiff holds Nations Roof West LLC and Does 1 through 100 responsible because the defendant allegedly falsely represented the terms and conditions of his employment.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for general and special damages, medical expenses, loss of earnings, prejudgment interest, declaratory and injunctive relief and for such other and further relief as the court may deem just and proper. He is represented by Adam Reisner, Tessa King and Shani Huang of Reisner & King LLP in Sherman Oaks.
