FRESNO – A Fresno business is alleged to have failed to provide meal and rest periods to a former employee.

Brianna Brawley filed a complaint on May 30 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Dukes Shenanigan's and Does 1-100 alleging violation of California Labor Code.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that during her employment with defendant from November 2014 through on or about Feb. 2, 2018, she did not receive proper wages for all hours she worked.

The plaintiff holds Dukes Shenanigan's and Does 1-100 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay minimum wage for all hours worked and overtime premium for all hours worked in excess of 40 per workweek, failed to provide meal and rest periods and failed to pay wages due upon termination in a timely manner.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all unpaid wages due, disgorgement of profits, penalties, interest, disbursements, attorney's fees and costs and such other just and proper relief. She is represented by W. Zev Abramson, Nissim Levin and Christina Begakis of Abramson Law Group in Los Angeles.
