FRESNO – A Walmart shopper has filed suit against the company over allegations its negligence caused a fall.
Anahit Gavoutian filed a complaint on June 7 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Walmart Stores Inc. alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, on July 29, 2016, the plaintiff was injured after slipping on a slippery substance on the floor of the soap aisle at defendant's store in Fresno.
The plaintiff holds Walmart Stores Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to correct the dangerous condition and failed to warn of it.
The plaintiff seeks compensatory damages according to proof. The plaintiff is represented by Jesse R. Fretwell of the Law Office of Darryl B. Freedman Inc. in Fresno.
