Man seeks damages from tractor-trailer driver, owners over state Route 99 crash

FRESNO – A motorist alleges he could not avoid a collision with a tractor-trailer that crossed over the median on state Route 99.

Darryl Ray Roberts filed a complaint on June 12 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Jack William, Incast Asset Management Inc., Western Truck Parts & Equipment Co. LLC, Omniduct and Does 1-20 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 22, 2017, he was driving on state Route 99 in Merced County in heavy rain when William, who was operating a tractor-trailer owned by the other named defendants, made an unsafe turning movement, lost control, went across the center median and collided with Roberts' vehicle.

The plaintiff alleges he was injured in his health, strength and activity as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff seeks compensatory damages according to proof. He is represented by Jeffrey D. Bohn of Accident, Injury and Medical Malpractice Attorneys of California APC in Fresno.
