FRESNO – Two individuals allege they were injured in a rear-end collision in Fresno.

James Arena and Barbara Bettencourt filed a complaint on June 15 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Harold Cox, Robert Primavera, Sterling Blaze and Does 1 through 50 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on March 28, the plaintiffs were traveling along state Route 180 east, approximately 4 miles east of Marks Avenue, when Primavera and Blaze allegedly struck their vehicle from behind with Cox's vehicle, thereby causing significant injuries.

The plaintiffs hold Cox, Primavera, Blaze and Does 1 through 50 responsible because Primavera and Blaze allegedly failed to maintain a reasonable following distance, operated their vehicle at a speed in excess of the reasonable speed under the circumstances and failed to perceive and/or take into consideration the other vehicles on the roadway.

The plaintiffs seek judgment for repayment of all special damages, general damages, prejudgment interest, costs of suit and for such other and further relief as the court deems just and proper. They are represented by Bobby Saadian and Jonathan C. Teller of Wilshire Law Firm in Los Angeles.
