FRESNO – A woman is seeking damages from a driver over a collision in Fresno.
Stephanie Betancourt filed a complaint on Aug. 1 in the Fresno County Superior Court against the county of Fresno, Wendy Ruth Eisenberg and Israel Castillo Martinez alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, on April 2, the plaintiff was driving at the intersection of Clovis Avenue and Kings Canyon Road in Fresno County when she was allegedly struck by defendants' vehicle, which was being operated by Eisenberg.
The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because Eisenberg allegedly failed to operate the vehicle at a safe speed for conditions to anticipate, perceive, react to and avoid any hazards of the road and obey all traffic laws.
The plaintiff seeks judgment for compensatory damages according to proof. She is represented by Warren R. Paboojian of Baradat & Paboojian Inc. in Fresno.
