FRESNO – A woman alleges she was injured when another driver failed to yield and struck her vehicle at a Fresno County intersection.

Gougnia Xyong filed a complaint on Aug. 16 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Titilola Lakeru-Rivers and Kelvin Diaz Inoa alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Dec. 28, 2016, Xyong was driving northbound on First Street at Gettysburg Avenue in Fresno County when the front side of her vehicle was struck by Lakeru-Rivers' vehicle, which was operated by Inoa. As a result, Xyong alleges she sustained physical injuries that required medical treatment.

The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because defendant Inoa allegedly failed to come to a complete stop at the solid red traffic light and failed to yield to the right-of-way.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for compensatory damages according to proof. She is represented by Jeffrey D. Bohn of Accident, Injury and Medical Malpractice Attorneys of California APC in Fresno.
