Farella Braun + Martel LLP Business Transactions Partner Daniel E. Cohn was named chairman of the Hospice by the Bay Board of Directors. He also serves as chair of the Executive Committee and is a member of the Finance and Governance Committees. Cohn joined the board of directors in 2012.
The Larkspur, California-based non-profit Hospice by the Bay is the second-oldest hospice in the nation and the first in California
At Farella, Cohn maintains a diverse practice in corporate, wine, employment and intellectual property law. He advises private clients in family business succession matters and with both structuring closely held corporations and negotiating and documenting shareholder buyouts in closely held corporations. He represents investors and wine businesses in mergers and acquisitions, grape purchase contracts, vineyard leases and other transactions. Cohn is listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the area of Corporate Law. He earned his J.D. from Stanford Law School.
