ATV passenger seeks damages over Hume Lake accident

FRESNO – A man injured in an all-terrain vehicle accident is seeking damages from the driver and the vehicle's owner.

Jay Cobb filed a complaint on Aug. 17 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Anson Friesen and Preston Friesen alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Aug. 21, 2016, Cobb was passenger of an all-terrain vehicle driven by Anson Friesen in Hume Lake and Friesen drove the ATV in such a manner that it rolled over on its side and down an embankment, injuring the plaintiff. The suit states the ATV was owned by Preston Friesen.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for compensatory damages according to proof. He is represented by Donald R. Fischbach and Micah K. Nilsson of Dowling Aaron Inc. in Fresno.
