LOS ANGELES – A Los Angeles company is alleged to have failed to pay a Georgia-headquartered company for products it ordered.
HUG Engineering Inc. filed a complaint on Sept. 11 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Maxx Air Inc. and Does 1-10 alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between February 2017 and January 2018, it sold exhaust gas purification and emission products to Maxx Air in the total amount of $183,908.50. To date, the said amount allegedly remains due and unpaid.
The plaintiff holds Maxx Air Inc. and Does 1-10 responsible because despite demand for payments, the defendant has failed to pay all or any portion of the amount due.
The plaintiff seeks damages in the amount of $183,908.50, with interest, attorney’s fees, costs and such other just and proper relief. It is represented by Martha S. Doty and Lisa Garcia of Alston & Bird LLP in Los Angeles.
