FRESNO — A driver is suing Estela Juarez, Jose de Jesus Parra Juarez and Does 1 to 25, after a car accident with injuries on State Road 180 at the intersection of Peach Avenue.
Chris Homen filed a complaint on Sept. 6, in the Superior Court of the State of California, against the defendants alleging that they failed to heed Homen's vehicle.
The plaintiff alleges that on April 10 he was driving west on State Road 180, when his vehicle was struck in the left rear by a vehicle driven by Estela Juarez. He claims that Juarez saw his vehicle but was traveling too close behind.
Estela Jaurez allegedly failed to stop in time when plaintiff put on his brakes and swerved to the left. Homen claims he was injured and his vehicle damaged.
The plaintiff holds Estela Juarez, Jose de Jesus Parra Juarez and Does 1 to 25 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to keep a safe distance to other vehicles.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for compensatory damages in excess of $25,000, plus costs of suit, and for such relief as is fair, just, and equitable.
He is represented by Mondrae K. English of Wild, Carter & Tipton in Fresno.
