Quality Fresh Farms alleged to owe more than $900,000 to Progressive Packaging Group

FRESNO – A seller of packaging materials for agricultural products alleges that a Fresno company owes more than $900,000 for goods it ordered.

Progressive Packaging Group Inc. filed a complaint on Sept. 11 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Quality Fresh Farms Inc. and Does 1-10 alleging breach of written contract for sale of goods and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in 2017 and 2018, the defendants purchased items from it and failed to pay the invoices.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants owe $975,087 in principal, together with interest at the legal rate of 10 percent per annum, as of Sept. 10. 

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant for compensatory damages in the amount of at least $975,087, interest, award of attorneys' fees, costs of suit, and further relief as the court may deem proper. It is represented by John G. Michael and Michael Fletcher of Baker Manock & Jensen PC in Fresno.
