“For many years I have enjoyed working with SDLRLA, and now it is a great honor to serve as Vice President,” said Mr. Escobedo. “I look forward to another year of furthering our efforts of promoting equality, empowerment, advocacy and justice for the Latino community in San Diego County.”

The organization’s attorneys dedicate themselves to promoting diversity on both the bench and bar. In addition, SDLRLA supports law students with mentorship programs and scholarships.

Mr. Escobedo’s practice focuses on training, counseling, and defending companies in workplace-related legal matters. His advice-and-counsel practices include harassment prevention and anti-bullying training, effective management tools, reviewing and revising employee handbooks and other company policies, and conducting workplace investigations.

As a litigator, Mr. Escobedo defends claims of wrongful termination, discrimination and harassment, retaliation, failure to accommodate, defamation, breach of contract, misappropriation of trade secrets and related issues.
