Driver seeks damages over auto accident a Fresno intersection

FRESNO – A motorist alleges her vehicle was struck when another driver attempted to make a turn at a Fresno intersection and failed to stop for oncoming traffic.

Donna Tamayo filed a complaint on Sept. 11 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Victoria Martinez-Navarro alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on June 2, Tamayo was traveling southbound on Cedar Avenue in Fresno when her vehicle was struck by defendant Martinez-Navarro's vehicle as the defendant attempted to make a left turn onto Shields Avenue. 

As a result, the plaintiff claims she sustained physical injuries, property damages and incurred medical expenses. 

The plaintiff holds Martinez-Navarro responsible because the defendant allegedly drove her vehicle in a negligent and unsafe manner.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for compensatory damages according to proof. She is represented by Samer Habbas of Law Offices of Samer Habbas & Associates PC in Irvine.
