Motorcycle driver seeks damages over Butte County collision

OROVILLE – A man alleges he was injured in Butte County when his motorcycle was struck by another vehicle.

Brent W. Harris filed a complaint on Oct. 1 in the Butte Superior Court against Orchard Machinery Corp., Joshua J. Wagner and Does 1 to 100 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on May 29 while traveling on East Gridley Road in Butte County on his motorcycle, plaintiff claims he was struck by the defendants' motor vehicle. As a result, Harris claims he sustained injuries and incurred necessary medical expenses in an amount not yet fully ascertainable. 

The plaintiff holds Orchard Machinery Corp., Wagner and Does 1 to 100 responsible because the defendants allegedly negligently and carelessly entrusted, managed, maintained and supervised the operation of, drove and operated their motor vehicle so as to cause an accident with the plaintiff's motorcycle.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for compensatory damages according to proof. He is represented by James J. Romag and Ashley N. Grindstaff of Brown, Koro & Romag LLP in San Ramon.
