Two allege they were injured when driver ran red light at Fresno intersection

Lawsuits
Car accident 37

FRESNO – A driver and passenger allege they were injured in a collision caused by another motorist who failed to stop at a red light at a Fresno intersection.

Cristian Manzo and Sandy Martinez filed a complaint on Oct. 1 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Nicole Potter alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on March 25, Manzo was lawfully operating his 2007 Acura TL with Martinez as his passenger when defendant Potter attempted to make a left turn onto Shaw Avenue eastbound, striking Manzo's vehicle.

As a result, the plaintiffs claim they suffered physical injuries, nervous pain and medical expenses.

The plaintiffs hold Potter responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to stop at the red light at the intersection and collided with Manzo's vehicle.

The plaintiffs seek judgment for general, special and property damages; costs of suit; disbursements; and such other and further relief as the court deems just and proper. They are represented by Jason A. Helsel and Mark A. Vogt of Fowler Helsel Vogt in Fresno.
