FRESNO – Four individuals are seeking damages from a driver and a trucking company over a collision in Fresno County.

Bellermino Rojas, Macrina Lucero, Mirta Rojas and Octavio Rojas filed a complaint on Oct. 31 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Mason Harland, CR England Inc. and Does 1-10 alleging negligence and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Dec. 30, 2016, they were traveling near the intersection of Belmont and Goldenrod avenues in Fresno County when Harland, who was driving a tractor-trailer for CR England, struck their vehicle. They allege they sustained severe and permanent personal injuries and incurred compensatory damages that include hospital and medical expenses, lost wages, diminished earning capacity, pain and suffering, and emotional distress.

The plaintiffs hold Harland, CR England Inc., and Does 1-10 responsible because Harland allegedly operated the tractor-trailer at a speed greater than what was reasonable, failed to keep a safe and reasonable lookout for other vehicles, and failed to keep a safe and reasonable distance from plaintiffs' vehicle.

The plaintiffs seek judgment against defendants for compensatory damages according to proof. They are represented by Ted B. Wacker of Law Offices of Ted B. Wacker in Newport Beach.
