SAN FRANCISCO – An Alameda County man alleges he was not paid for all hours he worked in a cannabis cultivation warehouse.

Brian Hally filed a complaint on Nov. 6 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Paul S. Shiau and Does 1-10 alleging negligence and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is employed by the defendant at a warehouse in San Francisco and was hired in 2014. He alleges he was scheduled to work a 10-hour day but he frequently worked longer hours.

The plaintiff holds Shiau and Does 1-10 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to compensate him for all hours worked and failed to pay a rate of one-and-one-half times his regular hourly rate for overtime work.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants for general, special, statutory and punitive damages; attorney's fees; and all other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Edward M. Higginbotham and Roozbeh Falahati of Bryant Law Group in San Francisco.
