Driver alleges motorist struck his vehicle twice at Fresno County intersection

FRESNO – A driver alleges he was struck twice by the same vehicle while sitting at a red light in Fresno County.

Anthony Villarreal filed a complaint on Nov. 6 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Micahel Ward and Christine Anaya alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Nov. 14, 2016, while a restrained driver of a vehicle stopped at a red traffic light the intersection of East Church and South Peach avenues, Ward struck the rear of his vehicle. The suit states that at the same time, Anaya struck Ward's vehicle, causing Ward's vehicle to strike the plaintiff's a second time.

The suit states both of the defendants failed to stop for traffic at the red light. The plaintiff alleges he sustained injuries to his body and nervous system as a result of the collision.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for compensatory damages according to the proof. He is represented by Jeffrey D. Bohn of Accident, Injury & Medical Malpractice Attorneys of California APC in Fresno.
