SAN FRANCISCO – A guest at a San Francisco property alleges the condition of the stairs caused her to fall.

Lucie Bui filed a complaint on Nov. 21 in the San Francisco Superior Court against Tom Quach and Lisa Thi Hong alleging negligence and premises liability.

According to the complaint, on Jan. 2, Bui was lawfully on defendants' Silver Avenue, San Francisco property when she fell due to the unsafe and defective steps/stairs and was injured. She alleges the stairs lacked proper lighting, support, railing and uniformity of height and depth of each step.

The plaintiff holds Quach and Hong responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to inspect, repair, replace and/or otherwise prevent and/or warn of the hazardous condition.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for compensatory damages according to proof. She is represented by William S. Ginsburg and Diem T. Tran of Berg Injury Lawyers in Sacramento.
