Lawsuits
Car accident 23

SAN JOAQUIN – Two individuals allege they were injured when their vehicle was rear-ended in Stockton.

Vicente Santana Gonzalez and Miriam Chaires filed a complaint on Dec. 7 in the San Joaquin Superior Court against Andrew Thomas Knowles alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Dec. 17, 2016, the plaintiffs and their two minor children were traveling northbound on Wilson Way near the intersection with Alpine Avenue in Stockton when defendant Knowles struck their rear of their vehicle. As a result, the plaintiffs allege they sustained physical injuries, property damages and incurred medical related expenses.

The plaintiffs hold Knowles responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to stop for the traffic ahead of him and operated his vehicle at a speed greater than reasonable.

The plaintiffs seek judgment for compensatory damages according to proof. They are represented by Ron Torem of Torem & Associates in Beverly Hills.
