Motorist allegedly failed to yield at Fresno County intersection, causing collision

FRESNO – A driver alleges another motorist's failure to yield caused a collision in Fresno County.

Manuel Salvador Martinez Rios filed a complaint on Nov. 26 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Manuel Sanchez Abundis alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Dec. 20, 2016, Rios was operating a motor vehicle upon northbound on Golden State Boulevard in Fresno County when he was allegedly struck by defendant Abundis' vehicle as the defendant made a left turn directly into his path. As a result, Rios claims he sustained physical injuries, lost use of property and incurred medical expenses. 

The plaintiff holds Abundis responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to yield the right-of-way to all traffic.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for compensatory damages according to proof. He is represented by Jeffrey D. Bohn of Accident, Injury and Medical Malpractice Attorneys of California AFC in Fresno.
