Passenger seeks damages from driver over San Francisco crash

SAN FRANCISCO – A woman alleges she was injured as a passenger in a vehicle when the driver ran a red light in San Francisco.

Nicole Alvarez filed a complaint on Dec. 11 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Liliana Aqurdia, Jose Pablo Guirola and Does 1-15 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, on Oct. 31, 2017, she while she was a passenger in a vehicle operated by Guirola, which was traveling near the intersection of Bay and Leavenworth streets in San Francisco. The suit states Guirola failed to stop at a red light and was struck by two vehicles.

The suit states Aqurdia was the owner of the vehicle Guirola was driving.

The plaintiff requests compensatory damages according to proof. She is represented by Arlo Garcia Uriarte of Liberation Law Group PC in San Francisco.
