SAN FRANCISCO – A San Francisco man is seeking damages from a roofing company over a fire.

Jeffrey Rosenberg filed a complaint on Dec. 28 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against GRC Roofing Inc. and Does 1-20 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 13, 2017, he resided at a Ninth Street property in San Francisco. The suit states that on that day, the defendant was doing roofing work at the property when a fire started.

The plaintiff alleges he lost all of his personal belongings and suffered physical and emotional injuries as a result of the fire.

The plaintiff holds GRC Roofing Inc. and Does 1-20 responsible because the defendants allegedly negligently performed, controlled, owned, operated or managed the work at the premises so as to cause or contribute to his injuries.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant for general damages, medical expenses, costs of suit, and further relief as the court deems just. He is represented by James M. Millar of Millar Law Firm APLC in San Francisco.
