SAN FRANCISCO – A San Francisco couple alleges a heating system was defectively installed in their home.

Kelly Kirk and Erik Kirk filed a complaint on Dec. 31 in the San Francisco Superior Court against Hydronics Inc. and Does 1 to 10 alleging general negligence and breach of contract.

According to the complaint, in January 2015, the plaintiffs contracted the defendants to install a hydronic heating system in their home. The suit states the defendants completed the work but negligently failed to perform the work in a reasonable and workmanlike manner. They allege they did not discover the defendants' negligently performed work until October 2017.

The plaintiffs allege they incurred significant expenses to investigate and repair the defendants' work.

The plaintiffs and seek judgment for compensatory damages, costs of suit, and for such relief as is fair, just and equitable. They are represented by Scott A. Bonzell of Law Offices of Scott A. Bonzell in Oakland.
