FRESNO – A man alleges he was injured in a collision at a Fresno County intersection caused by another driver who failed to stop at a red light.

Alexis James Hernandez filed a complaint on Jan. 3 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Elizabeth Hernandez de Santiago and Does 1-5 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Jan. 5, 2018, Hernandez was lawfully operating his 2012 Toyota Corolla proceeding to enter the intersection of California Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Fresno County when Doe 1, who was driving defendant's vehicle, entered the intersection on a red light, colliding with his vehicle.

The plaintiff holds Hernandez de Santiago and Does 1-5 responsible because Doe 1 allegedly failed to stop at the red light at the intersection.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for general and special damages, costs of suit, and such other and further relief as the court deems just and proper. He is represented by Jason A. Helsel and Mark A. Vogt of Fowler | Helsel | Vogt in Fresno.
